We build on a small, deliberate set of technologies we actually run in production: Vue 3 with vite-ssg on the frontend, Node.js and NestJS or Cloudflare Workers with Hono on the backend, and Postgres or Cloudflare D1 for storage, depending on the deployment target. Infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers with Static Assets, D1 and R2 where a project fits an edge-first model. We don't chase every new framework — we pick technology that's boring in the good sense: well-documented, cheap to operate, and easy for the next engineer to pick up.

plan33 is both a SaaS provider and a custom software development company. We run our own products — eskayscience and gamer433 — end to end: design, build, deploy and operate. That's also what a custom-development client is hiring: not a team that only writes code to spec, but one that has to live with what it ships, because it does exactly that for its own products.
